Shock confession! Booked VS instead of BA
I'm shocked at myself - I dithered and dithered and finally decided to book VS instead of BA for a trip to India in Feb. I have to go on set dates and saw availability drying up for the timings I needed. Basically I just could'nt risk BA having another strike looming and all the stress and cost of rebooking (as I did for critical Xmas flights recently). I feel sad at abandoning BA (& my miles and TP's and lounge access) but frankly I'm finally getting tired of putting up with BA's endless strike threats. I'll be back with BA from March onwards with many forward bookings, but my point is that if I'm acting this way, many others must be too... Q. Why is it that VS staff get paid half as much but never strike?
