I still think you'll find it is only the last row of Club seats where you don't have to hop over somebodies legs. The foot stool as far as I can remember (sorry always sit in a window seat) is very close to the next seat so you won't be able to get round behind it.
In fact the foot stool is attached to the seat in front.
