If this suggestion is in fact true, be prepared for much less latitude on the part of your gate/ticket agent.
and from a customer stand point we had the feeling this was/is the policy too...NWA - "Take care of the pax, use your own judgment"....DL - "dont break policy, if you do we'll find out about it"....and folks wonder why we DL North Elite's feel service has been downgraded...
