Got fee waived
I just asked politely and my branch waived the fee. Got 2x15000 miles in my Skymiles account (1x each from my card and spouse card/same account) and we each got the 1-day pass. Started account with a $3000 deposit and each of us made a signature purchase in first week. All of this was in October, 2009 from our FL condo address. ^
