I just put two tickets on hold from DFW-MIA-GCM and it shows you can use 500-mile stickers to upgrade both legs. Since I am EXP do I get complimentary upgrades from MIA-GCM or do I use stickers?

Am I correct here, since my gf is on my itinenary will the 500-mile upgrades for her be based on my EXP status so they would clear at the 100-hour mark?
