I have heard that they are taking up to 11 weeks to send out the cards. However, you don't really need the physical piece of plastic to enjoy the benefits of gold. Its the people who qualified for Executive Platinum that are still without their VIP certificates that have the right to complain (and the service desk has been very sympathetic).
