I ran into a problem with just printing a boarding pass recently because of cut off times.
I had checked in for a flight online but didn't print a boarding pass. I walked up to the kiosk because there was a line at the Medallion counter. Kiosk told me "it is too late to check in, you will need to rebook on another flight." The TA knew me and luckily called to the gate to get them to "release" the flight for her to check me in and fly. I'm fairly certain I've printed a Boarding Pass under the 30 minute window before and I was surprised by this. One other agent told me I was lucky they didn't make me rebook.
