I'm currently doing my best with the AMC Edy card...1 mile/200 yen and I pretty much only use it at conbinis and mcdonalds. Not a whole lot of potential there. Has anyone found a good way to use Edy to earn miles?
As joejones said. Try getting a credit card in Japan ANA version. It comes with the edy function. If you charge the creditcard at home you get miles from that also. Also If you go to places where you can use credit card or edy I would suggest you using a credit card. Credit card earns more miles than EDY.
The best ANA credit card you can get right now is the AMEX ANA Gold card.
I personally have the SFC regular card and the AMEX ANA Gold card right now with their 3x promotion it racks miles up like crazy. Every 100yen you get 3 miles on everyday purchases. Although there is a 3 month limit cap at 1.67million yen. The big downside is the 30000man+ yearly fee.
