LOL, sort of reminds me of the old Holiday Inn issues with owning Harrah's Atlantic City. Simplifying the story, and from memory -- basically the Holiday Inn owned Harrah's Atlantic City (one hotel property) was more profitable in a year than the entire portfolio of Holiday Inn Properties in the United States.

Of course, the casino biz was a bit less competitive back in the 1980's.
In most cases, casino properties are the profitable crown jewels of any hotel operator's empire. Well, unless your name is Donald Trump.
