A week or two before the deadline is usually when I've had arrangements made to get an extension. I have never counted on an already generous promotion becoming more generous with extensions, but it was nice when it happened for me as a Diamond. This time could be different, and I wouldn't count on an extension being granted this time around given Hyatt already gave us the alternative of bonus GP points instead of free nights in order not to have the need for extensions as much as in the past.

Last time I got extensions, it ended up being a busy spring and summer and as a Diamond had most of my FFNs go unused despite Hyatt's great generosity in extending them.
