With the new qualify status based on calendar year, does anyone know if the cut of date really change to Jan 1 from Apr 1? (e.g. Qualify for gold on Jan/Feb 2010 will have status till 03/2012 instead of 03/2011)
My finding seems inconsistent and CSR also seems not confident with their answer. Would like see other FTers can confirm this.

If you have sixteen stays in Jan/Feb 2010 you should get status until 03/2012
To have status until 3/2011 you must have already qualified before the Dec 31 2009.
The March date is an extra 3 months given to those who have acquired status its totally irrelevant to any dates involving the qualification period.
