Hi!
A little bit long story but hope you can help me out!!

I was gold last year, by flying 25 K (but they gave it to me short of the 25K because I wrote about having met the gold challenge earlier, but didn't sign up because I didn't know about it - as I was scheduled to achieve it by the end of the year, they gave it to me before actually flying the 25K).
Hi!
I am being upsetted by the point system since my agent issused me a "M" class ticket (I think that's why cheaper), I putting all my "AA" related history here and really hope you experts here can help me.

Dec (99): 6774miles (3637pts)
Jan (00): 7216miles (3608pts)
and I will fly:
6774miles (3637pts) at 27April
and
6774miles (3637pts) at 31Aug.

I enrolled my Gold challenge yesterday and the lady on the phone allow me to backdate to 16Apr.
I know about miles and points different after that, then I phone AA agian today, the gentleman on the phone said they CANNOT backdate the challenge.

How I can get the gold done?

***If they allow backdate then my Dec and Jan flights can qualify already, am I right?

(I cannot fly AA during summer since I am in HK, no AA service, how much do you think a Gold deserve? Should I fly CX in HK to nowhere just to peak up the "point"?)

Thanks...
