Not as much dealings with the UK CAA as I have had with CASA, but based on the contacts I have had, yes I do believe I am in a reasonable position to compare the two. There have certainly been no major incident that I have come across with CAA like the ones that made me lose confidence in CASA and/or their system.
Even if you read some of the publicly available information, you will probably realise why I do not have much confidence in some parts of CASA.
