Just like I took China Eastern from Shanghai to LAX in 2008. The plane is ok, ground staff are ok but its the passengers that are terribly noisy through the entire 14 hours flight. So I'm basically staying off all Chinese airlines as well.
You definitely cannot say the same for Cathay Pacific, if you haven't tried them yet (Airline of the Year 2009).
