BTW, renting cars in Israel usually is about the same or cheaper than the states as long as you are willing to take something small and have a Mastercard World. I usually pay $25-$28 a day for a Hyundai Getz and hope to fanagle an upgrade upon arrival. I'd say that it's worked 50% of the time
