It still doesn't feel like a true lean-back seat. At least there's decent padding though, and the amenities are nice (slippers, eyeshade, facemask, etc.).
Bottom line, if I don't keep my Marco Polo status after this year, I would try other Premium Eco seats into Asia.

BTW, security procedures for flights into the US from NRT aren't that daunting anymore. Just a pat-down and bag search at the gate. I'd say arrive 45 minutes before flight time and you are more than fine.
I haven't tried PY myself but I always have the question of whether it will be as uncomfortable as CX's new Y (I tried that on their US roadshow and absolutely hate both of their Y and J seats). Looks like it is at least it's better than CX's. How about the lumbar support? Do you think that's enough?
Even with 38" pitch, they still look seem enough when I walked to the PY cabin to checked it out last time...So if you can choose between the exit row and a PY seat, which one would you pick?
So the NRT security check hasn't changed since Dec 31, still just a pat-down and bag search at gate. I wonder has it ever been more checks than that
