that's wierd. purser paul said they have had them for only a month. as for the aatractions magazine, they now have separate editions; one for 767s and md11s, and another for 777s and ab300s. the reason for the difference, in seat videos on the 777s and ab300s(what i was on in coach on the way back from lhr). they way the films were listed in the 767/md11 booklet, they talked only of dvds, not the sony video walkmans. i originally thought it was going to be somewhat later in the summer, but i listened to paul and the magazine instead.

sorry for any misinformation. as i said anyway, imho, selection with the walkmans is much better i.e. current.

honu: i think aa serioulsy mismanages bookings in the business cabin, especially out of london. when i wanted to upgrade my mon flight on the fri before, the 8am out of lhr had no seats available for upgrade. when the plane took off, i could see the biz cabin was more than half empty (row 18, 1st row in coach). i could have easily taken 50k out instead of 25k on fri, but no way was i going to give them another $75 for the 2nd 25k at lhr.
