My family (wife and 1 year old) and I live in Canada would like to go some place warm in North America to escape the winter. I've limited to north america as my airline points aren't enough for hawaii or the carribean but are enough for pretty much anywhere in north america.

What I am looking for are suggestions for category 4 Starwood hotel that is the best combination of warmer climate, nice hotel, and good location to do things like golf, shopping, and maybe a beach.
