Travelers Aid volunteers are happy to assist anyone traveling who feels that they need assistance; I've helped elderly confused people and teenagers traveling alone to get from one flight to another.
Most of the time the TA volunteers man a desk and offer all kinds of help; eg. you would not believe the number of people who've arrived on an international flight and the person they were expecting to meet & greet them at the airport isn't there. They haven't a clue what to do....in many cases they don't even have a contact phone no. with them or the complete address of where they're supposed to be staying (goodness knows what they write on the landing cards?!). I've met some very odd people with the strangest of 'experiences' TBH...!
