Actually for me it is location, location, location. The closest Hyatt and SPG properties to where I am currently working and staying are 20 miles away, but there are 3 Marriott, 2 Hilton, and 1 PC properties within 2 miles. Of these (and I am top tier in all three) I prefer the Homewood Suites which gives full point credit unlike the Residence Inn which only gives 50%. That said, I bounce between these two to catch the various promos and sometimes stay at other nicer FS properties on the weekends. I tend to stay 3-6 weeks at a time.
