luggage
finally got thru to a phone... theyre looking now.. but as it is 5 days it may have gone back to houston.. so with being snowbound.. I wouldnt have made it.. and today may have been too late anyway it would appear...
had already spoken to usa c.o. told best idea is to go to lhr to get a file number ..and then they will look again...at houston if it is not at lhr...
got the first reply to my on line baggage delay form today finally.. with a reference number..saying they will be back in touch when theyve looked into it.
funny how they have leeway for themselves in a snow/emergency situation but not for others..
a courtesy return call would have been great from either co or the bag handlers... maybe they need to see how easy it is for the disabled members of their bf community... sometimes a decision does have to be taken on the spur of the moment.. and in the days of e-mail/phones surely it is a matter that could have been dealt with in either of these forms... this is a rant..
I hope they find it..the operations guy was not amused that calls had not been returned in a timely manner and has asked them to do a search.. I appreciate their current efforts..
basically giving up.. rail fares today were £178!!!! the uk allow price gouging!!! I can normlly get these for £30-£59!!!
