I know they didn't allow nonstop codeshares back when it was CO/NW/DL, but this is a different game. UA and US have had nonstop codeshares for ages, and it seems that CO and UA do as well.
Exactly - I see UA-only flights being offered domestically all the time now on CO.com. There seems to be certain routes where they are not offered though, even when a codeshare exists. EWR-ORD is one example.
Maybe the rule is that they are just not offered ex-CO hubs?
