Just wanted to provide an update for those interested... called up today to provide my PMU cert numbers so they can do the reissue ahead of time for the upgrades. Thought I'd try again and asked the agent if they could check if I'm on the waitlist for the U upgrade on NW608... agent got into the nw system and pulled it up, said hmm thats odd and asked me to hold. Came back a few minutes later and said I'm on the waitlist now for the U upgrade. Not sure what was different that time, except maybe I lucked out and got a knowledgable agent willing to help.

Only other thing I noticed is that the past several times I called, I didn't get asked to participate in the phone survey after the call. This time I did and I said yes and ended up giving the agent all 5s. Not sure if I got routed to a different call center, but it sure was nice to have someone helpful who could get it through quickly. Now I just hope its not too late for the U upgrade to clear, since I missed out on the previous availability as I detailed in my first post.
