What impresses me most is that they are a large company, and yet able to be so price competitive.

The HLE is good because it keeps us locals out of the airports.

But, about once a year Hertz will try to put me in an inappropriate vehicle. I might tolerate this at a HLE where they have few vehicles. But at an airport, I don't want to be "complimentarily double upgraded". If I wanted a gas hog, I would have reserved one! Just give me something reasonable; and try that "complimentary upgrade" on the next customer.
