Jan 17 AC16 HKG-YYZ J3 C0 D0 Z0 Y9 B9

Since I'm SE, in the AP website, it lets me book Jan 14 AC15 in J under Priority Reward. But the return Jan 17 AC16 is not available for IKK.

However, if I want to use 585000 AP miles, I can use a Excess Access Flight Reward to book the return flight.

Alternative, I can use 535995 AP miles PLUS $1470.15 to redeem the same reward.

This is confusing. So now above IKK, there is another level of redemption, called Excess Access Flight Reward?

I wonder if one is not an SE, would the mileage requirement to redeem the Excess Access Flight Reward be any higher?
Everyone gets Extra Access Flight Rewards. Elites and Super Elites get the additional Priority Rewards (ie: IKK).
