With 4 seats available up front, US offered to UG me on my 25k saver award ticket for CLT-LAS tmrw AM when I was checking in online today for $200. Thought this was for both me and my companion, but of course it was for each of us.

Ha. I understand not confirming F upgrades for traveling on economy award tickets...but if there is room up front on DOD, why not generate some goodwill?

I'll try at the gate tmrw and will report back the details of my failed attempt at a later time.

On a sidenote..this 750am flight always used to be packed most days of the week IME...seatcounter is showing this as wide open tomorrow. Wonder if this is seasonal, or because it's a Wednesday?
