You are smelling yourself. Same thing happens to my brother inlaw who smokes but not just at JFK it happens anywher ehe travels if he checks a bag or not.

You just don't realize what you smell like because you are so use to it. Not saying you stink but when all of your clothes are together the smell may be stronger.

It's like when you leave your home for a few days and come back.
