I checked my MR account today and was pleasantly surprised to see my status being upgraded to "Gold"!! ^

I had 47 nights last year and wanted to call MR customer service to request the upgrade. But somehow I was upgraded, without my request, and now I have 37 nights rolled over in 2010 and need only 13 more to retain "Gold".

Thanks for the nice gesture Marriott. I shall certainly have you in mind while making a reservation anywhere in the world!!
