It's a nice, clean westin. it looks like it's been remodeled recently. the lobby is beautiful -- very interesting architecture and space.

i'm a plat. both times that i have stayed there with family, i got a nice big suite -- with a huge living room and dining table. i also got breakfast coupons for a free continental breakfast at the restuarant in the lobby -- i remember that they had a nice buffet with hot items, but i had to pay $3 / person to upgrade from the continental buffet to the full buffet; it seemed like an odd-fee to pay...but i can't complain about having a nice buffet breakfast for $3/person.

my only complaint with the property is that it's a bit isolated -- there are no restaurants nearby (aka nothing walkable)... it's a short drive to plano -- up either the tollway or 75... it's good to have the toll ez-pass.
Thanks. How recently did you stay? $3 for the buffet upgrade is more than generous -- I'd have no problems with that fee.

My team and I will be staying at the Westin next week but were unable to secure reservations for the week after (hotel is completely sold out for whatever reason)
