Depends on what class it is, asian base airline like NH, JL, OZ, CX
NEVER give you a full can of soda even you ask for it in Y.
However, UA
ALWAYS give you full can of soda in Y.
Regarding magazines and newspapers, many asian airlines had cut newspapers in Y. Like OZ, I can hardly find english newspapers in Y, it is korean, even for flights to china, they don't even have chinese newspapers if you fly F.
