Whether or not she'll get credit depends on the fare class the ticket was booked into. Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with Priceline for airline flights so can't really help you there.

I would call US and see if they can help you with the seat numbers by providing them with the ticket number.

However, if the ticket number was provided by Priceline and is a Priceline number, US won't be able to help. Maybe calling Priceline and providing them with the number can get you the PNR (Passenger Name Record) which you could provide to US for the seat numbers or to UA for the credit.

Side note: Why is UA asking for the seat numbers? I've never heard of that before, has anyone else?
