If you want the additional flyer to be somebody outside the Household Account you have to book by telephone.
Didn't even think of that! I wonder if adding the person to one's HHA like I did, then removing them after 6 months but before the flights are taken is another option?

I think it takes the older miles from the pool too, so it's helpful in avoiding having miles for a Household Account member without much activity expire.

You forget that the person you added could easily call BA and make a mileage booking using your HHA miles. All he needs is his EC number, printed on his boarding card.
I know this person well enough to confidently say that the chances of this happening are 0.00001%
He's even giving me the PNR for his forthcoming CX flight that involves 4 segments for me to bank the miles ^
