I have been Executive Platinum for over 2 years and have received my upgrades 100% of the time, when I make a reservation more than 100 hours before the scheduled departure time. The system-wide upgrades are for 4 round trips, but unfortunately only on AA flights. You can not use them on any other OW partners. You get 4 stickers (500 miles each) every 10,000 miles, the rest of your upgrades you will have to pay for stickers. Award seats have no blackout dates and extra seats are made available for awards. The Executive Desk is the best. International lounges allow your entry on any fare. I also think I get a litte better break on Admirals Club renewals. You will get treated like a king everywhere except the actual gates.
