We've got small very basic laptop bag which CdnTraveller Jr will be using for the laptop - and according to this and the other 2 threads running on the subject, laptop bags without wheels, containing only laptop and cords, etc, are getting through at YYZ.
The question is what kind of a "man-bag" might we find for Mr CdnTraveller to carry.
