For me the seat / bed in CW is far superior to VS UC. It's more comfortable in my opinion and being able to recline from seat to bed is so appealing to me. I used to get annoyed at having to go through such a process to switch between the two on VS, and watching a film on VS in bed mode was uncomfortable - the seat is either a 'seat' or a 'bed' with nothing inbetween, whereas I like to progressively recline like I can in CW. I'm not bothered by the lack of direct aisle access in CW, I've coped fine with the seating arrangement.
David.
I agree, the 2 position seat on VS (which I have only experienced at the business travel show) looked like being a pain, I asked the guy why the suite i was in didn't recline and he said it did, that was the reclined position! I couldn't get it into a comfy position and couldn't change the height of the footstool. I was used to being able to recline to sleep and that was a real eye opener.
As for lounges I always think, how long do you spend in the lounge compared to the actual flying time.
