Nicest property in Tahiti is the Intercontinental, that's a legitimate resort (though the beds aren't great).

The Hilton is fine for a night. You won't want to spend a ton of time there.

Had no problem getting cab to/from hotel/airport. Not cheap for the short ride but certainly the way to do it. IIRC ~ US$25 each way.
