I tried to book a 2-4-1 for someone not in my HHA and ba.com won't allow it. So I had to either dissolve the HHA (and lose the extra miles, which I need for a MFU) or add my zero-miles friend to my HHA, which I did this morning.
If you have a Household Account and want to book a 241 redemption online then both flyers need to be in the Household Account.
If you want the additional flyer to be somebody outside the Household Account you have to book by telephone. When you do this my experience is that they now charge you the offline booking fee (they didn't do in the past)
