I have a Barclays US Airways Mastercard and hit the $25k in spending in the last week of December '09. I needed the 10,000 Preferred miles that I'd get for that to maintain Gold status, but the 10,000 Preferred miles didn't credit in 2009 (and still haven't credited).

Has anyone else had this happen? If so, do the 10,000 Preferred miles show up, whenever they do, as miles that count towards 2009 status or 2010 status?

Is there any good way to nip this in the bud so that I get my miles sooner rather than later?

(I also have a BofA US Airways Visa and the 10,000 Preferred miles for that one posted in mid-December, right after I hit the $25,000 in spending.)
