I actually don't mind the HIX coffee I've had in the US (or Germany). I've only stayed at HIX properties in the US and Germany. The German HIX breakfast is a simple German breakfast with usually no hot food (except for soft/hard boiled eggs), but it's quite good (my only complaint is that they should have some more fruit).

The HIX Smart Roast 100% Arabic coffee is from Royal Cup Coffee. It's not bad at all, IMHO.
