Rules and Restrictions


* Currently, only U.S. and Puerto Rico mailing/billing addresses can be used to purchase tickets on AA.com.
* Tickets must be purchased via the AA.com Web site only.
* Fares are round-trip for Economy Class travel and are nonrefundable.
* Reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to departure, but no later than 12:00 midnight (CT), August 13, 1999, whichever comes first.
* Ticketing must be completed by 12:00 midnight (CT) the day after reservation is made, but no later than 12:00 midnight (CT), August 13, 1999.
* Fares are valid for departure from August 18, 1999 through December 11, 1999.
* Other travel dates may be available at different fares.
* Return travel must commence by 12:00 midnight, December 17, 1999.
* Peak travel days, except to or from Florida are Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday.
* Offpeak travel days, except to or from Florida are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
* For trips to Florida: Peak travel days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
* For trips to Florida: Offpeak travel days are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
* For trips from Florida: Peak travel days are Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
* For trips from Florida: Offpeak travel days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
* The following blackout dates apply to travel: November 24, 1999 and November 28, 1999.
* Seats are limited.
* Fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets and are subject to change without notice.
* A Saturday night minimum stay applies.
* A 14-day maximum stay applies, except for transborder flights to/from Canada when a 30 day maximum stay applies.
* No enroute stopovers permitted. A stopover occurs when the passenger does not depart an intermediate point within 4 hours.
* No rollovers.
* Prepaid tickets are not available at this fare.
* Discount is based on fare basis codes MEP14SN and MEO14SN.
* Discount does not apply to Web-only specials including Net SAAver Fares or award travel.
* Fares only apply to Coach cabin seats.
* For all travel, up to $12 USD per round-trip in local airport charges may be collected in addition to the advertised price.
* Fares do not include a federal excise tax of up to $2.25 USD per each U.S. domestic flight segment of your itinerary. A flight segment is defined as one takeoff and landing.
* Other restrictions may apply.
* For Canada travel, government taxes and fees of up to $22 USD are not included and may vary slightly depending on currency exchange at time of purchase.
* Cancellation/change penalties apply.
* For destinations other than Europe, prior to departure, changes to your ticket may be made if you pay up to a $75 USD service charge and meet the restrictions applicable to the new fare.
* A portion of travel may be on American Eagle, American's regional airline associate.
