I got what seems like one of the better targeted offer to re-qual for 1K this year. No registration fee and I have to fly 5K miles in Y,B,Z,J,C,D,F,A,P. Any thoughts on the cheapest way to do this, as I consider whether I want to attempt this or not?

Logical options (I'm LAX-based) seem like a trans-con with a connection, or maybe a Hawaii flight. I'd also been contemplating a Z fare to Europe this year, and this might make me pull the trigger on that.

Anything else I should be considering?
