While I certainly don't disagree with the comments about this situation - 2 FC seats certainly isn't a lot to hold for sale and could be considered too few to hold on some routes - there does seem to be a tendancy in the remarks toward not getting upgrades with plenty of seats available, especially at the higher elite levels.

Seems like when I started reading this forum it was very unusual for an elite to not get an upgrade at the window with 8, 10, 12 seats open. Comments about not getting upgraded at the appropriate window seem to be more common over the last year or so.
