To clear the air. wasn't ranting, just stating a factual reality I thought all should know. Got the upgrade, enjoyed the Pasta up front, and would not have comlained if they didn't have a meal for me.
The logic of Delta does not make sense to me and the passenger should have the option to choose, if they want to pass on the meal or not. The Delta agent said just that and told me I should have been asked at check in if I would be willing to pass on the meal if I would get upgraded.
