Your travel agent can also get you Prem Exec if you have the AA elite status. I think the UA forum is a waste since it is "not UAL," most emphatically. I know UA monitors it from time to time but I don't think it is the most effective way to get new status. I also do not know anyone to get complimentary 1K and my husband and son have both been one.
