I do consider the Platinum Insurance really good and coupled with the BA Amex most travel related events seem to be covered...

except as posted here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...e-details.html only the Platinum insurance covers you if you need to pay for alternate transportation if you miss a flight/connection and at £150 each it's not enough.
