Some skeptics were pretty decent. But many of those posts were disrespectful and hurtful (Along the lines of "This is a fishy story ... besides you'd have to be an idiot or a monster to send an elderly man on a journey alone" - I mean what's that about? It's like saying, "I don't believe this is a bona fide story. But just in case it is, I'll stick a knife in". Really, what is that about?)

Very hurtful, disrespectful, unnecessary.... And looking pretty stupid now.
