I'm not a surfer, but I have my doubts. I have a friend from Dutch who surfs regularly...and he stores his board in Anchorage!

Cordova, Sitka, Yakutat, the Bore Tide on Turnagain Arm - those are the Alaskan surf "hot spots" as far as I know.

Edit: Perhaps I stand corrected, see post 14 on this thread from right here in our own forum.
