her flight is del-dxb-jfk on Emirates and then she goes on (on a separate ticket) to Washington.

If the flight misconnects, it appears she'd arrive like 10 a.m. The next Emirates flight to JFK leaves at 2 a.m.

I suspect Emirates doesn't owe her anything (except to get her on the next fight) since it is weather related (smog in Delhi), but anything special she should request?
