Unfortunately I don't know if either of these stores accept DC - But with respect to your planned purchases, there is a Bose store in a shopping complex called Pacific Place downtown (near Nordstrom) and one of the best camera stores in the city is Glazers, and they have a separate digital photography shop across the street from the main store.
