Umm...not quite.

For well over a year now, Delta has been offering complimentary access to their lounges for ALL 'premium cabin' passengers (paid, upgraded or award) traveling on certain transcon flights out of JFK to/from DEN, LAS, LAX, PDX, PHX, SAN, SEA, and SFO.

This perk only applies to NON-STOP flights between the above mentioned cities and JFK........so, AFAIK that disqualifies a transcon itinerary consisting of 2+ flights to travel between JFK and any of those cities..... as well as 'direct flights' (i.e. same flight number all the way but has a scheduled stop that may or may not require a change of planes......).

Based on what I just read at Delta.com, this 'perk' seems to have been amended within the past year or so to also include coach passengers booked in Full Y class.

Also, the list of lounge locations that qualify seems to have grown slightly since I last checked it.....as it now includes a location that seems out of place given the requirements:

JFK Terminal 2
JFK Terminal 3 (3 clubs)
JFK Terminal 4 (KLM Oasis club)
Los Angeles Terminal 5
Portland, OR
Raleigh-Durham, NC
San Diego
San Francisco (2 clubs)
Seattle, WA
